CSSI Names Rookie of the Year and Incredibles Award Winners

CSSI recently named the winners of two major awards, the Rookie of the Year award and the Incredibles Award.

These awards are presented each year to honor exemplary employees who go above and beyond for their clients and for CSSI. The Rookie of the Year award is presented annually to one CSSI employee in recognition of outstanding performance, customer service, and initiative within their first 36 months of employment. The Incredibles Award is presented annually to one CSSI team in recognition of outstanding performance, customer service, and initiative.

Rookie of the Year Award

The Rookie of the Year Award was presented to Frank Ortiz, an employee in CSSI’s Charleston, South Carolina office, was nominated for his work on the Visual Information Display System (VIDS) Team. According to his nomination, “Frank has plunged into an incredibly difficult situation in VIDS… He has done all of this cheerfully and will not hesitate to come to someone's assistance should the need arise. Frank is simply a great guy to work with.”

Incredibles Award

The Incredibles Award was presented to the VIDS Team, consisting of CSSI employees based in Charleston, South Carolina. Team members included eleven dedicated computer programmers, electronics technicians, project managers and other technical experts. According to their nomination, “in a very short time, the VIDS team was put together from very diverse backgrounds… they inherited an ongoing project with no turnover and started from scratch to learn everything required. They have quickly attacked the task at hand and worked together daily…” to achieve great results for their customer.
