CSSI's Research, Engineering and Analysis Laboratory (REALab) is a Corporate initiative to find, cultivate, and develop the intellectual capital and technical resources needed to challenge and expand the practical boundaries of global air traffic management technologies. CSSI accomplishes these goals in partnerships with our customers in a mutually beneficial exchange of resources and results.

REALab is a learning organization that develops technical talent to explore new concepts based on emerging technologies, methods, and techniques. REALab Researchers, Analyst, and Developers:

	Begin their development with a technical background,
	Commit to continual education through conference attendance, formal education, informal technical publication review, sharing of discovery,
	Collaborate developing innovative approaches to new challenges, and
	Are motivated to publish results and develop both CSSI and their own personal reputation in the field.

REALab as an R&D organization develops prototype applications and analysis resources to validate future concepts and quantify their benefit to the global community.
