Vice President of Technical Innovation
Dr. Mark D. Rodgers is currently the Vice President of Technical Innovation for CSSI, Inc. Dr. Rodgers is responsible for organizational leadership on innovation; management of the research and review function; ensuring the company’s vision for technology aligns with business strategy; and driving innovation throughout the entire organization.
Over the past 20+ years, Dr. Rodgers has held several positions in both industry and at the Federal Aviation Administration. Positions at the FAA Headquarters included Director of System Engineering for the Air Traffic Operations Planning Organization, Program Director for Human Factors, Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for Human Factors, and Engineering Research Psychologist at the FAA's Civil Aerospace Institute.
Dr. Rodgers has received numerous awards for safety innovations, including the Air Traffic Control Association Special Medallion Award. He has authored over 50 publications and presentations on human factors and human performance. Dr. Rodgers received his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Louisville in 1991.
