System Integration, Engineering & Technical Support

CSSI provides System Integration, Engineering, and Technical Support to the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Defense for a wide range of air traffic control systems used within the National Airspace System. By closely interfacing with our customers at the FAA Tech Center and Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic, we provide support throughout the system lifecycle to include requirements development, architecture design, specification development, and system deployment. CSSI engineers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and technical personnel develop and implement software and hardware upgrade modifications to Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems based on a customer’s defined requirements. We apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods to software improvements, patches, and new releases that deliver incremental improvements in overlapping delivery cycles. We support our customers with identifying issues, developing integration solutions, analyzing hardware/software configurations, and documenting testing procedures and results.

Our current support of the Visual Information Display System (VIDS) and CM-300(V2) Radio Replacement Program enables the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps warfighter to engage and complete their ATC mission requirements by ensuring the latest ATC system requirements are met.  Our highly skilled drafters and field technicians provide system integration support in both laboratory and worldwide on-site installation environments by providing support to: Redlined and final drawings; Site survey data, System readiness verification; and Equipment installations.
