CSSI Honors Founder’s Award Recipient
February 14, 2018
CSSI, Inc. recently named Poniesa Johnson, director of Human Resources in Washington, DC, the recipient of the 2017 Founder’s Award.
The award honors Frank G. Castillo, the late founder of CSSI and father of Cynthia Castillo, CEO of the company. It is presented annually to a CSSI employee who exemplifies the founding principles, vision, and spirit of the company. Selection is based on an individual’s performance, sustained accomplishments, customer satisfaction, and a willingness to accept additional responsibility. Additionally, nominees lead or serve as an inspiration to others, take initiative, and demonstrate dedication to community involvement and self-improvement.
“Poniesa represents the finest qualities in a CSSI employee and inspires those same qualities in others,” said Kelly Caccetta, president of CSSI. “She contributes immeasurably to the trusted, solid relationship that CSSI has earned with our employees and our customers, and gives back selflessly both inside and outside of work. I can’t think of anyone who deserves this honor more than Poniesa.”
Poniesa joined CSSI as a consultant in 2011 and became a full-time human resources manager in early 2012. From there, she was promoted to Human Resources director, where she currently leads a team of recruiters, generalists and communications professionals.
