CSSI Wins 5-Year, $8.9 Million Learning Content Management System Contract

Washington, DC – CSSI, Inc., a leading provider of transportation and mobility solutions to government and commercial clients, recently won a contract to support the FAA as it implements a new system to more effectively develop and manage the material used for employee training.
This prime contract is worth $8.9 million through five years, adding nine FTE staff to the SE2020 SIR 2 Program.
The team, consisting of CSSI, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and International Business Machines (IBM), will establish and maintain the FAA’s Learning Content Management System (LCMS) in a hosted Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. The LCMS will enable the organization to develop and optimize content to help meet business objectives and goals while helping it adapt and respond to change more quickly.
The CSSI team will also develop the processes required to use the system effectively and the long-term operational model for use of the LCMS that will provide the best value to the FAA.
Work on the LCMS project started late July 2016.
